Cosy rooms and a lovely welcome
You enter the property via a beautiful white porch from the previous century. You reach the courtyard, where you can park your car. Cyclists can even leave their bikes in a locked room.
The manor house refers to a house in the countryside. It belongs to the Château de Ragnies. It's painted white and is long in shape. You'll already appreciate the natural setting, thanks to the park opposite the building. This park is home to rare species, such as Ginkgo Biloba or purple beech trees that are typical of the region (one of the four is 400 years old!).
You can go for a stroll in the park, have a chat or read a book.
A generous serving at breakfast
Madame Michelle greets you with a big smile at the reception. She makes you feel at home right away and is wonderfully kind. She leads you to your room and offers tips about restaurants or activities in the area, if you're interested.
You’ll appreciate the little touches in the rooms, like the bottle of water or herbal tea.
When you wake up, there’s always a pleasant surprise in store for you: breakfast. This comprises more than pastries; an entire buffet of breads, cheeses, yoghurt, ham, eggs and more awaits. The portions are generous and the food is delicious.
Accommodation in an ideal location
The guest house is located in Ragnies, a village that has been named one of the most beautiful in Wallonia. The village is home to many houses made from local stone, beautiful farmhouses, a pretty church and much more.
The accommodation is located next to the Ragnies golf course and the Biercée Distillery. You'll also appreciate how close it is to the city of Thuin, which is known for its hanging gardens and its belfry, or the ruins of Aulne Abbey.
A top tip: the restaurant ‘La Part des Anges’ is located in Ragnies and serves delectable cuisine. It's best to make a reservation to ensure you are seated.
