A workshop and tour of a perfumery in the Namur region in Belgium

The perfumery workshop is located just off the N5, the road connecting Charleroi and Philippeville. As a result, the site is quite easy to find, with ample parking. At first glance, the rural setting is amazing.

Do not delay, though – step inside. Your first steps inside the perfumery set the tone. This is not a traditional perfumery. You’ll discover an entire world of perfumers. In addition to the many perfumes created here, you will find vials that can be smelled, pots with herbs that awaken our sense of smell, teas to refine our olfactory senses and more.

A bespoke perfume

We are not used to calling on our sense of smell. We often use our nose to complement a flavour experience, but we rarely take the time to get creative with aromas. And that is where the magic happens here: you take the time to inhale and trust your nose.

The perfumery offers a number of options. You can try the olfactory tour to awaken your sense of smell and understand the basis of the world of perfume. The tour lasts 45 minutes and helps you to understand various perfumes: the base of the perfume, what is added to it, what should be avoided and what makes it linger on the skin, among other things.

However, the workshop is still a must. You’ll also learn how to create your own bespoke perfume.
