The legend of the golden pit
Have you seen the bottom of the ‘fosse al Gâte’ pit? According to legend, there is none. This hole also brought about the downfall of our friend Anselme. You will discover his history by walking along the Mont Rosé promenade?

Instructions

Sign:
- 5.5 km
- Start at the Botte du Hainaut Nature Space and turn right into the small alley.
- At the end of the alleyway, turn left onto Rue Godart.
- Turn right onto Rue du Moulard, then left on the same street.
- Take the third street on the right.
- At the end of the street, turn right, then straight into Rue des Veaux.
- At the Y-shaped crossroads, take the path on the right, then another right.
- Take the path along the trees on the right and you will come to Rue de l’Etang. /!\ This is where the sign is found.
- After the ponds, turn right and go down Rue de l’Etang.
- Take a left onto Rue du Cimetière, then right onto Rue de la Haut.
- Take the second exit onto Rue de l’Esclinchamp at the roundabout.
- Finally, turn left to return to the starting point.
