The church at the bottom of the lake
On this walk, you’ll discover the legend of a village that was flooded when the Eau d’Heure dams were built. Stroll along the lakes and you may see the bell tower of this famous church at the bottom of the lake.

Direction for walks: Follow the Beaumont itinerary and its verdant valley (3.6 km/around 1 hour)
Sign: Blue rectangle
1. In front of the Welcome Center, turn right and immediately right.
2. Arriving at the edge of the Plate Taille lake, turn right and follow the RAVeL
3. At the intersection of the two RAVeLs, turn right at the tree, cross the road to the dams and take the path in front of you.
4. At the end of the forest path, turn left and take the footbridge.
5. At the intersection of the two paths, turn left.
6. Cross the road and turn right.
7. At the roundabout, turn left, pass between the holiday village reception and the "Iwago 66" snack bar and go down the green corridor to the RAVeL.
8. In front of the beach, turn left and follow the Lac de la Plate Taille to your starting point (2.5 km). You will see the Golden Lakes Village and the Natura Parc.
